Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to determine their capabilities to provide Building Management System (BMS) software upgrade services. The project involves upgrading and converting the existing BMS software system at the Puget Sound VA Medical Center. The scope of work includes removing existing controllers, replacing them with new systems, providing new programming and graphics, and performing a system-wide backup of programming, code, configurations, and system settings. The contractor will also be required to design the layout of the new system, create new modernized graphics, and perform a cut-over on site. • The project requires the contractor to work closely with the customer to standardize on points naming conventions and other details as desired. • The contractor will be required to provide updated controls drawings, closeout, and warranty documents upon successful completion. • The existing end devices will remain and be re-used, and any devices found defective during the health check will be noted and brought to the attention of the facility POC.
