The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a Prequalified Maintenance Contractor to perform longitudinal joint and crack repairs with asphalt repair mastic material on M-29 from Sierra Dr to Baker Rd in Chesterfield TWP, Macomb County, Michigan. The contract will require the contractor to provide all labor, materials/supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, and any incidental services or items required to perform the contract activities. The contractor must comply with the MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, 2020 Edition, and other relevant documents. Key aspects of the project include: • Cleaning, filling, and leveling longitudinal construction joints, transverse joints, longitudinal and transverse cracks, and spalls wider with asphalt repair mastic material • Providing temporary pavement markings • Maintaining traffic throughout the project • Complying with prevailing wage requirements • Submitting a price proposal that includes all surface preparation, pavement marking removal, temporary pavement markings, furnishing, hauling, placing, and finishing of all materials, removal and disposal of all debris, and all labor, equipment, materials, and tools required to complete the work.
