The City of Rosenberg is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the purchase and turnkey installation of eight 200kw natural gas generators with 600 Amp automatic transfer switches at multiple lift stations. The project includes removing and disposing of existing fences, furnishing and installing new chain-link fences, and providing engineered stamped plans for the generators, automatic transfer switches, and connections. The successful bidder will be responsible for coordinating with the gas service provider, obtaining necessary permits, and installing the gas lines. The city is exempt from payment of Texas sales tax and federal excise tax. • The project involves eight lift stations: Lift Station 1, Lift Station 3, Lift Station 4, Lift Station 15, Lift Station 21, Lift Station 24, Lift Station 25, and Lift Station 27. • The generators will be installed with automatic transfer switches on concrete pads. • The project will be in compliance with the latest edition of codes and standards required by federal, state, and local rules and regulations. • The city will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The contract term may extend only by written amendment as mutually agreed between the City and bidder.
