Notice of Intent to Sole Source Award THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Billings Area Indian Health Service intends to award a commercial, firm fixed price, sole source contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1 to Medical Consultants Network Inc., 1777 S Harrison St. STE 405, Denver, CO 80210. The company shall provide policy management software services to the Little Shell Service Unit, Great Falls, MT; Blackfeet Service Unit, Browning, MT; Fort Belknap Service Unit, Havre, MT; Fort Peck Service Unit, Poplar, MT; Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, Lame Deer, MT; and Crow Service Unit, Crow Agency, MT. MCN is the only vendor to be granted exemption by the Chief Information Officer to the FedRAMP requirement for the Billings Area. Since MCN had been providing similar services to the service units in the Billings Area before the requirement was established, they have been authorized to provide these services without the FedRAMP requirement. The procurement will be conducted pursuant to the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures; 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements; and FAR 37.101, Non-Personal Services Contract. This is not a request for competitive proposal and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the software are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification within 10 days of the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this action is within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining to conduct a competitive procurement.
