Description:
The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to contract with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) on a sole source basis for the continued research, development, and production of the Advanced Threat Warning Sensor (ATWS)/Common Infrared Countermeasure (CIRCM) System. The contract will be a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract. Interested sources may submit a statement of interest and supporting documentation to Contracting Officer Chase Brasher. The key aspects of this opportunity include: • Software development and engineering support services for the ATWS/CIRCM System • The Government does not possess the intellectual property or technical data required for the continued research, development, and production of the system • The contract is anticipated to be awarded on a sole source basis due to the lack of available suppliers or services that can meet the system specifications without substantial duplication of cost and schedule.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this contract can be estimated based on the scope of the project, which involves the continued research, development, and production of the ATWS/CIRCM System. Given the complexity and the specialized nature of the system, the contract value is likely to be substantial. A possible estimate could be in the range of $10 million to $50 million, considering the costs associated with software development, engineering support, and production. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual contract value may vary depending on various factors such as the scope of work, the duration of the contract, and the level of competition.
