The City of Atlantic City is seeking a qualified and experienced fire/rescue training provider to deliver an NFPA-compliant Structural Collapse Technician (SCT) course. The course will provide specialized instruction and hands-on training for structural collapse rescue in accordance with NFPA 1670 and NFPA 1006. The training will be provided to approximately 48 firefighters, with 12 students per session, and will be taught over 8 days. The successful bidder will be required to provide a full 80-hour SCT training course, instructional staff and support personnel, necessary consumable materials, and specialized equipment. • The course will cover topics such as types of structural collapse and hazards, building construction and collapse patterns, advanced shoring and stabilization techniques, and technical search operations. • The training will include classroom instruction, hands-on practical training, and scenario-based simulations in realistic environments. • The successful bidder will be required to provide student manuals, certificates of completion, and assessment records. • The City of Atlantic City reserves the right to reject any nonconforming request for deviation based on any perceived inconsistency with the scope of published specification requirements and/or an included qualification procedure.
