The Town of Franklin is seeking bids for the 2026 Mill and Overlay Project, which involves constructing approximately 11,500 feet of roadway milling and paving along several streets within the town. The project requires bidders to be pre-qualified with MassDOT for PAVEMENT SURFACING for the estimated construction cost of $1,269,500. The work includes milling 2” of existing asphalt and repaving with 2” of hot mix asphalt top course, as well as constructing and repairing concrete pedestrian ramps. • The project is expected to start in Summer 2026. • Bidders must download bid documents from the Town website. • Proposals are due on May 15th at 9:00 am. • Inquiries should be directed to the Town’s Chief Procurement Officer, Pam Vickery.
