The City of Kingsland is soliciting proposals to purchase a Sewer Bypass Pump. The pump should have a size of 6”x6”, a maximum flow of 2,500-3,000 gpm, and a maximum head of 182’. The city is looking for a qualified vendor with integrity and reliability to assure good faith performance. The proposal should include the total cost of the pump, the number of days for delivery, and a signed statement certifying that the bid is made without prior understanding, agreement, or connection with any other corporation, firm, or person. • The pump should have a mechanically driven diaphragm-style vacuum pump for priming. • The pump should have an instrument panel with oil pressure gauge, voltmeter, hourmeter, and tachometer. • The pump should have a positive sealing air separation with stainless steel components. • The pump should have a swing-style discharge check valve with a nitrile disc. • The pump should have a run-dry system with an oil-lubricated mechanical seal. The city reserves the right to clarify any terms with the concurrence of the vendor and to reject any proposal that does not conform to the specifications.
