The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has released a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. This contract vehicle will allow MDA and other Department of Defense (DoD) entities to rapidly issue orders for various services and solutions. The proposed contract has a period of performance of 10 years, consisting of a base ordering period and one or more optional ordering periods.
