The Department of Transportation is seeking a contractor to provide tree trimming and stump removal services in Westmoreland County. The contractor will be required to perform work on state routes, department facilities, and other areas where PennDOT has a responsibility to perform this type of work. The contractor must provide all necessary equipment and personnel to complete the work. The contract will be for a period of one year. • The contractor must have experience in tree trimming and stump removal. • The contractor must provide a five-person crew, including a working foreperson, a trimmer-lift operator, and three ground persons. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, including a trimmer lift, a rear dump truck, a chipper, and chain saws. • The contractor must have a current Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture certified commercial pesticide applicator's license. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including OSHA and ANSI standards.
