The Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is seeking qualified firms to provide on-call historic resources consulting services. The selected firms will evaluate potentially historic properties within Midpen's jurisdiction, including buildings, structures, objects, sites, districts, and landscapes. The services may include conducting federal, state, and local records searches, describing and providing the history of subject properties, conducting site visits, and documenting and photographing subject properties. The contract term is for one year with the option to renew for up to three additional years. The value of work under any given contract is not expected to exceed $52,000 per fiscal year. • Conducting historic resource evaluations and assessments • Preparing Historic Resources Evaluation Reports and California Department of Parks and Recreation Form 523 • Providing recommendations for historic preservation and conservation • Conducting peer review of historic resource evaluations and assessments • Supporting CEQA environmental analysis and permitting processes • Developing and implementing historic preservation plans and strategies • Collaborating with Midpen staff and other stakeholders to achieve historic preservation goals
