Description:
The Cincinnati VAMC has a requirement for the servicing of hemodialysis equipment in the renal clinic. The requirement is for the service and maintenance of a Mar Cor CWP and four Mar Cor portable RO machines. Services to be provided by the contractor under this contract shall include furnishing preventive maintenance, parts, labor, intervening service calls/emergency repairs, lodging, technical telephone assistance, expert supervision and all other allied costs required to maintain and repair the subject equipment. The contractor must provide OEM certified technicians and use certified OEM parts. The service shall be performed per the OEM’s manual and instructions to maintain the equipment’s FDA 510K certification. • The contractor will perform monthly Performance Maintenance Service (PMS) visits to inspect and perform system checks on all components of the water treatment system. • The contractor will replace carbon tanks, exchange tanks, filters, worn or failed parts as needed during the monthly Preventative Maintenance (PM). • The contractor will take monthly LAL and bacteria water samples on loop out, loop return and reverse osmosis (RO) product water and send result reports. • The contractor will provide annual on-site facility staff training. • The contractor will inspect and replace RO pre-filters per service schedule. • The contractor will rebuild two softener heads (3005 Q) annually. • The contractor will rebed/Replace water softener resin tank 7 cu ft., annually. • The contractor will rebed/Replace multi-media tank annually. • The contractor will clean membranes semi-annually, using low and high pH cleaners.
