The University of Massachusetts Lowell is seeking up to three Owner's Project Managers (OPMs) to provide project management and oversight services for various new construction, repair, and renovation projects in existing buildings across the Commonwealth. The selected OPMs will act as an extension to UMASS Lowell's staff, participating in and reviewing planning, design, permitting, public process, building technology, and other aspects of the projects. The OPMs will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the project, including coordination of consultants, design review, value engineering, procurement, and construction. The OPMs will also be required to attend weekly PM staff meetings and be on campus at least one day per week. • The OPMs will be selected based on their qualifications and experience in managing capital construction projects. • The OPMs will be required to provide a team with extensive experience in managing complex capital construction projects. • The OPMs will be responsible for ensuring compliance with UMASS Lowell's policies, procedures, and requirements for design and construction activities. • The OPMs will be required to manage projects to ensure sustainability, resiliency, and energy efficiency. • The OPMs will be required to provide a Diversity Focus Statement outlining their approach to enhancing diversity in assembling the team for this project.
