The CW Bill Young VA Medical Center is seeking a short-term rental of a Siemens Cios Alpha VA30 System - Portable C-Arm X RAY System or a name-brand equivalent, along with a compatible Imaging Table. This equipment is necessary for the continuation of Electrophysiology (EP) and Pacemaker procedures in the Operating Room during the renovation of the EP Cath Lab. The contract includes the rental of the C-Arm system for a period of six months, from June 2025 to November 2025, as well as the removal of the hard disk for VA retention at the end of the lease term. The Imaging Table must have specific features such as a floating tabletop, motorized height adjustment, and the ability to tilt laterally, Trendelenburg, and reverse Trendelenburg. Key features and requirements of the C-Arm system include: • A full R/F unit, mobile type • A flat panel detector • Minimum detector size of 30 x 30 cm • Minimum central resolution of 2.5 lp/mm • Minimum range of motion – orbital rotation of 148 degrees • Minimum range of motion – pivot rotation of 225 degrees • Minimum range of motion – panning motion of 12 degrees • Minimum range of motion – horizontal travel of 20 cm • Minimum range of motion – vertical travel of 45 cm • Minimum c-arm depth of 28.7 inches • Minimum generator output power of 25 kW • Minimum capacity for images of 300,000 • Minimum image matrix size of 1952 x 1952 pixels • Maximum system dimensions of 78 x 33 x 65 inches • Maximum system weight of 375 lbs The contractor is also required to provide on-site clinical applications training for two technologists and two physicians during the go-live period.
