The Administration for Community Living is seeking applications for the Statewide Independent Living Council Training and Technical Assistance Center. The center will provide technical assistance, training, and information to Statewide Independent Living Councils (SILCs) to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness. The center's key functions include providing standardized expert information, facilitating communication and peer-to-peer learning between SILCs, and continually assessing SILC needs. • Providing technical assistance and training to SILCs • Facilitating communication and peer-to-peer learning between SILCs • Continually assessing SILC needs and evaluating the effectiveness of the center's activities • Developing and maintaining a state-of-the-art SILC website The applicant eligibility is limited to domestic public or private non-profit entities, including state and local governments, Indian tribal governments and organizations, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations, hospitals, and institutions of higher education.
