The Foothill-De Anza Community College District is seeking prequalification applications from C-10 Electrical Contractors for the modernization of the Pool and Physical Education complex at Foothill College. The project includes the expansion of the existing pool, construction of a new pool deck, replacement of mechanical and electrical systems, and installation of new underwater lighting and exterior site lighting. The contractor will be required to have a valid and current C-10 Electrical Contractor's license, liability insurance, and workers' compensation insurance. The contractor will also be required to sign and be bound by the terms and conditions of the Project Stabilization Agreement. • The project is funded by Measure G, a $898 million general obligation measure approved by voters in 2020. • The project includes the modernization of the pool and physical education complex, including the expansion of the existing pool and the construction of a new pool deck. • The contractor will be required to have experience with DSA-inspected work and to have demonstrated compliance with DSA Form 103 requirements. • The contractor will be required to have a minimum bond capacity of $2.5 million. • The contractor will be required to have a current workers' compensation insurance policy and to have paid all required premiums.
