Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide preventative and corrective maintenance services for the Parata TCGRX system at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, travel, materials, support, and service necessary to maintain the system, including emergency service, repairs, and technical support. The contract will include a base year and four option years, with a total duration of 5 years. The contractor must provide OEM certified field service engineers and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Key responsibilities include performing scheduled maintenance, providing 24/7 telephone support, and ensuring that the system is operable and available for use 98% of the time. Some key points to consider: * The contractor must provide first call Clinical Engineering training for current qualified technicians at the VAMC, CT. * The contractor must comply with all applicable records management laws and regulations. * The contractor must provide a detailed field service report upon completion of work, including identification of equipment serviced, labor and travel, parts and materials, and corrective action taken. * The contractor must ensure that all contractor personnel obtain a short-term identification badge issued by the COR or government designated representative. * The contractor must comply with the Federal/California OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. * The contractor must provide proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results for all contractor employees who work in or travel to VHA locations.
