Description:
The University of Washington is seeking a global health communications company to provide strategic communications support for the release of the Lancet Commission on 21st-Century Global Threats to Health findings. The selected firm will be responsible for driving engagement with top-tier media outlets, developing core communications materials, producing and distributing press releases, and conducting targeted pitching to global media outlets. The firm will also be expected to develop a social media strategy and execution plan, including content creation, social media campaigns, and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience working with global health organizations, facilitating connections with policymakers, and allocating staff in other geographies outside the U.S. as needed. Key deliverables include a comprehensive global communications and media engagement strategy, a social media strategy and execution plan, and a global events strategy. Some of the key requirements for the proposal include: • Demonstrated experience in global health, public health, and healthcare sectors • Proven track record in delivering research and strategic outputs aligned with the scope of work • Ability to engage policymakers and international media • Capacity for global staffing • Strong client references • Experience with event production management and social media campaigns • Ability to provide media guidance and training as needed • Experience with stakeholder mapping and audience development • Ability to conduct detailed stakeholder mapping and identify global audiences • Experience with social media kit development and distribution • Ability to track trends and analytics and provide impact reporting
