The University of Hawaii is seeking a vendor to provide an integrated solution for academic course scheduling and optimization, and facilities scheduling and event planning, delivered as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. The solution must enable the University to analyze demand, forecast course needs, and optimize schedule construction and resource allocation across campuses, departments, and academic units. The scope of work includes providing software, implementation, integration, training, and ongoing support services. Key objectives include improving schedule quality, student progress-to-degree, space utilization, instructional and non-instructional resource planning through data-informed forecasting and constraint-based optimization. • The solution must integrate with the University's existing student information system (SIS) and other relevant institutional systems as needed. • The solution must provide a single-instance, multi-tenant architecture to support the University's ten campuses. • The solution must provide dynamic and customizable workflow per campus. • The solution must provide bi-directional integration with the University's SIS. • The solution must provide scenario modeling and "what-if" planning capabilities. • The solution must provide resource optimization capabilities to support academic and facilities scheduling.
