The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT-SHA) is seeking a qualified licensed Contractor to provide comprehensive and reliable commercial electrical maintenance and repair services on an on-call/as-needed basis at the District-5 Office in Annapolis, Maryland. The services include repairs and maintenance of all electrical systems, emergency response, design, installation, maintenance, reconditioning, replacement, diagnostic, troubleshooting, or repairs that may be required by the Administration. The Contractor must be capable of coordinating with other trades and providing "not to exceed" written estimates for each work project prior to the commencement of any work. • The Contractor must have at least 5 years of experience in commercial electrical work and provide at least one Certified Master Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of experience. • The Contractor must be able to respond to emergency service calls within 3 hours and routine service calls within 48 hours. • The Contractor must provide all labor, materials, supplies, specialized equipment, tools, parts, supervision, transportation, and insurance necessary to complete the work. • The Contractor must maintain an adequate stock of industry-standard supplies, parts, and tools necessary to provide electrical services. • The Contractor must guarantee all work against defects in workmanship, design, materials, and installation for a period of at least 1 year after completion of work.
