The Town of Davie intends to negotiate and award a contract with only one source, Henry Pratt Company, LLC, under the authority of the Town of Davie Code Section 2-323 (b). The contract is for products or services, including butterfly valves, plug valves, check valves, and control valves, for which Flotech, Inc. is the sole representative in the state of Florida. Flotech has been certified by Henry Pratt for service and repair of all brands that they represent for the Henry Pratt Company in the state of Florida. • The products under the Henry Pratt brand included are: Henry Pratt Brand AWWA and industrial butterfly valves, Henry Pratt Brand plug valves, Henry Pratt Brand check valves, Milliken Brand plug and check valves, Henry Pratt Brand knife gate valves, and Singer Brand control valves. • Flotech is also the sole company allowed to perform service work in the state of Florida. • The Town of Davie is providing notice of this intent to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
