Description:
The US Air Force intends to award a single source contract to Southern Software Inc. for the procurement, installation, and support services of a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System and a Mobile Data Information System (MDIS) for Joint Base Charleston's Fire and Emergency unit. The systems will enhance dispatch operations, improve data management, and ensure reliable support for emergency response activities. The contract includes project management, installation, training, and annual support for the CAD and MDIS systems. The scope of work also requires integration with existing agency hardware and software, including secure VPN connectivity. Key features of the systems include efficient call management, comprehensive reporting, integrated mapping, and secure high-speed internet access. • The CAD system must be compatible with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher. • The system should support multi-jurisdictional and multi-discipline operations. • The system must be CAD-to-CAD capable with Berkeley County Emergency Dispatch. • Integration with existing agency hardware and software is required. • The contract includes 24/7 support for CAD and associated systems. • The work shall be completed within 60 days from the award of the contract, with provisions for additional support and maintenance services for one year from the date of installation.
