The Office of State Procurement is seeking a contractor to provide waste disposal services to the Department of Corrections, David Wade Correctional Center. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be required to provide two 30 cubic yard self-contained compactors with lockable doors, which will be serviced weekly. The contractor will also be responsible for disposing of waste and providing hauling services. • The contractor must be registered in the LaGov vendor system to submit an online bid. • The contractor must provide a W-9 with their bid if they are newly registered. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. • The contractor must provide descriptive information about their products and services. • The contractor must agree to abide by the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. • The contractor must agree to defend and indemnify the State of Louisiana against any claims or actions.
