Description:
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a contractor to supply Metering Fuel Pumps for the HMMWV vehicle system. The requirement includes four different NSNs, each with a minimum and maximum quantity over a 5-Year Long Term Contract (LTC) period. The pumps support the 6.2 Liter and 6.5 Liter Diesel Engines for the Legacy, Legacy (A2), and Up-Armored versions of the HMMWV. The Government plans to solicit and evaluate the requirements using an "All or None by NSN" strategy, with the potential for split awards to be made to the responsive low offeror for each NSN. The key aspects of this opportunity include: • Supplying Metering Fuel Pumps for the HMMWV vehicle system • Four different NSNs with varying quantities over a 5-Year LTC period • Support for 6.2 Liter and 6.5 Liter Diesel Engines • Potential for split awards to be made to the responsive low offeror for each NSN • 5-Year Long Term Contract (LTC) period

Budget Estimate (AI):

$10,000,000 – $50,000,000

The budget for this opportunity can be estimated based on the quantities and types of Metering Fuel Pumps required. With a minimum of 132 and a maximum of 3,300 each for the 6.5L Detuned pump, and similar quantities for the other three NSNs, the total budget can be substantial. Assuming an average price of $1,000 per pump, the total budget for the 5-Year LTC period could range from $1.3 million to $13.3 million for the 6.5L Detuned pump alone. Considering all four NSNs, the total budget could be in the range of $10 million to $50 million. However, this is a rough estimate and the actual budget may vary depending on the prices offered by the contractors.
