The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide replacement and relocation of sprinklers and replacement of main fire pump at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. The contractor shall perform work in strict accordance with specifications, statement of work, schedule, VA local, federal, state, and all applicable policies and regulations during the performance of work. The tasks include relocating and replacing fire sprinklers, removing and replacing the upper fire pump, and installing new tamper switches. The contractor must have a C-16 License: Fire Protection, Hydrant, and Sprinkler, and must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local requirements regarding workers' health and safety. • Replacement and relocation of fire sprinklers in various rooms in Building 500, Building 501, Building 222, and Building 214 • Removal and replacement of the upper fire pump in Building 501 • Installation of two new tamper switches in Building 214 • Removal and replacement of the existing fire pump and motor in Building 214 • Emergency repairs and costs in relation to findings from inspection
