The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide elevator inspection services to the VA Portland Health Care System, Portland and Vancouver Campuses. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the elevators operate safely and are in compliance with all required safety codes. The inspection services will be documented and provided on a semiannual basis. The contract will have a base year and 4 option years. The contractor will be required to test elevators, provide inspection reports, and perform other related tasks. • The contractor must have a current Qualified Elevator Inspectors (QEI) certified elevator inspector. • The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials. • The contractor must comply with all applicable safety codes and regulations. • The contractor must provide a report for each elevator containing the results of all tests performed. • The contractor must submit original invoices to the VA Financial Services Center (FSC).
