Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is seeking a contractor to provide a water purification system for the sterile processing service. The system must produce water that meets AAMI ST108 Critical Water specifications and have a minimum capacity of 312 gallons per hour. The contractor will be responsible for installing the system, providing training, and performing verification sampling. The scope of work includes providing a turn-key installation of the water purification system, including removal and disposal of the current unit. * The water purification system must meet AAMI ST108 Critical Water specifications. * The system must have a minimum capacity of 312 gallons per hour. * The contractor must provide installation, training, and verification sampling. * The contractor must remove and dispose of the current unit. * The system must have a 250-gallon tank with 200 working volume gallons. * The system must have an ultraviolet light system and a leak detector with shut-off solenoid valve. * The system must be a Deionized (DI) water and Reverse Osmosis (RO) water purification system with automated RO bypass.
