Charter Schools USA (CSUSA) is seeking proposals for comprehensive, turnkey school bus transportation services for Steele Creek Preparatory Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina. The scope includes full operational management of student transportation, ensuring timely, safe, and reliable service. The services are to begin on March 13, 2026, and continue through the end of the 2025–2026 school year, with an extension into the 2026–2027 school year and additional years as mutually agreed upon. • The vendor will be responsible for providing state and federal mandated bus driver training, as well as student management training for drivers. • The vendor will be required to establish a solid partnership with CSUSA, allowing for reviews and discussions to revisit pricing if additional or fewer buses are needed during the contract term. • The vendor will be expected to provide a mass communication process for parents, and the school may want to receive copies of the communication or provide additional communication to parents. • The vendor will be required to provide actual rider attendance sheets, either through electronic attendance or manual attendance, and work with the school to remove non-riders.
