The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking American industry partners to help improve the patent and trademark examination processes by providing innovative tools or solutions, especially artificial intelligence (AI) based tools, to reduce application backlogs and protect applicant data from domestic and foreign IP theft. The USPTO is interested in solutions that can assist in the completion of specific examination-related tasks, ensuring consistency of the work product. Some examples of solutions include IT improvements, robotic process automation (RPA) bot development/usage, new code, or ideas to improve current processes.
