The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking a contractor to provide landscaping services for a period of five years, with one base year and four option years. The services will be performed at the SEA INVASIVE PLANT RESEARCH LABORATORY in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, materials, and labor to perform the work. • The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract, and the contractor will be required to provide pricing for all items. • The Government intends to make one award from this solicitation, and the award will be made to the offeror representing the best value to the Government. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable Federal and State workers' compensation and occupational disease statutes, and will be required to have bodily injury liability insurance coverage written on a comprehensive form of policy of at least $500,000 per occurrence. • The contractor will be required to provide a site visit, and will be expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance.
