The Polk County Conservation Board is seeking a contractor to redevelop a well at the Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt controlled marsh area. The project involves pretreatment testing, removal of the pumping unit, mechanical cleaning of the well casing and screen, and explosive shock wave treatment. The contractor must provide a final report detailing all work completed and treatment results. The project must be completed by August 15th, 2025. • The well is approximately 60 feet deep and has never been redeveloped since its installation in 2013. • The iron content of the water is high. • The contractor must remove all excess materials and debris and restore any damage done to the existing landscape or infrastructure. • The contractor must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Polk County as an additional insured. • The contractor must comply with all OSHA standards and regulations.
