The awarded contractor must be able to pick up and return repaired vehicles and be no further than 25 miles from Milton's city limits. The city desires a three-year agreement that is renewed annually. The scope of services includes frame work labor, body work labor, mechanical labor, paint labor, materials/supplies, parts, and decal installation on repaired vehicles. • The city's fleet vehicles include various models of Ford and Chevy trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles. • The contractor must have a location of suitable size and personnel to handle the repair and body work of the fleet vehicles without undue delay. • The city may award multiple non-exclusive contracts, but reserves the right to award the RFP to one contractor if needed. • The selection will be based on overall price, services, performance, reliability, and location convenience of the proposers.

Budget Estimate (AI):

$600,000 – $1,500,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate without knowing the exact number and types of vehicles to be serviced, as well as the labor and material costs involved. However, considering the city's desire for a three-year agreement and the scope of services, a rough estimate could be in the range of $200,000 to $500,000 per year, depending on the frequency and complexity of repairs. This would put the total budget over three years at $600,000 to $1,500,000. Factors influencing the likely payment range include the number of vehicles in the city's fleet, the average cost of repairs per vehicle, and the level of competition among bidders.
