The City of McDonough is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to develop a Comprehensive Parks Master Plan. The plan will provide a community consensus on a vision for the parks system that is financially sustainable and includes realistic goals for implementation through the year 2035. The selected consultant/consulting team will have proven experience and knowledge in park and recreation planning, project management, and effective public involvement, and work closely with the City Parks and Recreation staff. Key aspects of the project include: • Research, public involvement to include a community demand, supply, and needs analysis • Specific recommendations for all aspects of the City Parks & Recreation system • Proven experience and knowledge in park and recreation planning, project management, and effective public involvement • Close work with the City Parks and Recreation staff • Development of a Comprehensive Parks Master Plan that is financially sustainable and includes realistic goals for implementation through the year 2035.
