The City of Fremont is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design services for various city projects. The scope of work includes providing power and lighting design services, fire and life safety design services, communications design services, assessment and photometric testing of existing lighting systems, and more. The selected consultant will be required to provide a scope of services, billing rates, statement of qualifications, and terms of service agreement. The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities in the proposal process. • The scope of work may include design services for renovations of existing or new facility plumbing and area drainage systems • The consultant will be required to attend project meetings and provide assistance during the construction bidding process • The consultant will be required to provide recommendations for upgrades, retrofits, or replacement of existing city facilities • The consultant will be required to provide CAD base plans and prepare construction documents, including plans, details, and specifications • The consultant will be required to provide insurance coverage, including general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability insurance
