Description:
The Treutlen County Board of Commissioners is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for solid waste transportation and disposal services for a three-year term, with an option to renew annually for an additional two years. The firm must be able to receive, analyze, and report its findings in accordance with applicable industry standards and timeframes, and have billing and collection capabilities. The contractor will be responsible for providing curbside waste services to the unincorporated portions of Treutlen County, which had approximately 3,500 persons by the last census. • The contractor must provide all collection equipment and pickup shall be once weekly. • The contractor must provide containers for residential and commercial use. • The contractor must provide at least three roll-offs to the county collection site at all times, and one at the jail. • The contractor will not be required to collect construction debris, yard waste, tires, paint, or hazardous waste.
