Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a service-disabled veteran-owned small business to provide medical dental house air and med vacuum service for the New Jersey VA campuses. The contractor will be responsible for performing quarterly preventive maintenance on the medical gas systems, including inspection and testing of equipment, evaluation of the medical gas system, and minor repairs. The contractor must also provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the preventive maintenance program. The period of performance is one year from the date of award, with the option for four additional years. * The contractor must be ASSE 6040 certified to perform maintenance and ASSE 6030 certified for inspection and testing. * The contractor must evaluate existing medical/dental compressed air and medical vacuum systems for compliance with current NFPA 99 – Healthcare Facilities Code specification and requirements. * The contractor must provide a copy of the service report to the Contracting Officer's Representative, including a list of all preventive maintenance checks completed and identified problems or deficiencies found. * The contractor must perform work Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with emergency services scheduled and approved by the Contracting Officer.
