The City of Fremont is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide security guard services at the Fremont Family Resource Center. The contract will commence on July 1, 2025, and run through June 30, 2030. The security guard will be responsible for the protection of property, employees, tenants, clients, visitors, and equipment on FRC premises and other services sites as assigned. The scope of work includes providing security by walking the perimeter and interior of all FRC buildings, monitoring activity, addressing behaviors that violate the Fremont Family Resource Center Rules, and performing emergency duties such as calling 911 and assisting in emergency situations. • The security guard will work 50 hours a week, with a one-hour unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. • The guard will perform security patrols, including one randomly timed patrol on weekdays and two patrols on weekends. • The guard will be responsible for monitoring the use of phones and video phones and asking individuals who appear to be loitering to leave the premises. • The guard will document all unusual occurrences on the appropriate report form and in the daily work log. • The guard will be a resource for the public and clients, answering questions and giving directions as appropriate.
