The Department of Natural Resource is seeking prequalified contractors for invasive species control in various categories, including tree/shrub control, herbaceous control, invasive land clearing, plant/insect/disease surveys, and herbicide application. The contractors will be required to provide services such as hand pulling, cutting, felling, girdling, bucking, piling, chipping, and/or burning piles of trees and shrubs, as well as applying herbicides. The contractors must have relevant certifications, equipment, staffing, plant identification skills, and business experience to perform the services. • The categories of invasive species control include tree/shrub control, herbaceous control, invasive land clearing, plant/insect/disease surveys, and herbicide application. • The contractors must have at least 1 year of experience in the relevant category, except for land clearing which requires 2 years of experience. • The contractors must provide references and documentation of their experience and qualifications. • The contractors must have the necessary equipment and staffing to perform the services. • The contractors must have the ability to identify the species to be treated and distinguish it from similar species.
