Description:
The Cambria Community Services District is seeking a contractor to remove fallen trees and brush along the Santa Rosa Creek streambank, which is causing erosion close to the access road needed for a wastewater lift station. The objective is to mitigate erosion impacting the access road by removing obstructive vegetation and debris. The scope of work includes identifying and safely removing fallen trees and heavy brush, properly disposing of removed vegetation, coordinating with district staff to protect existing infrastructure and environmentally sensitive areas, and implementing erosion control measures if required. The work is to begin in August and be completed by October 1st, 2025. • The contractor will be responsible for removing fallen trees, brush, and accumulated vegetation along the designated section of the streambank. • The contractor will properly dispose of or chip removed vegetation. • The contractor will coordinate with district staff to ensure protection of existing infrastructure and environmentally sensitive areas. • The contractor will implement erosion control measures if required to stabilize the exposed bank following vegetation removal.
