Fayette County Public Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced service providers to deliver E-rate eligible Internet access and Wide Area Network (WAN) transport services for all schools and district facilities. The selected provider will be responsible for providing a minimum committed bandwidth of 10 Gbps, scalable up to 20 Gbps and 40 Gbps during the contract term. The solution must support bandwidth upgrades without additional upgrade fees during the contract period. • The Internet connection to the core network demarcation must provide a minimum committed bandwidth of 10 Gbps. • The WAN transport solution must provide a minimum bandwidth of 10 Gbps, scalable up to 20 Gbps and 40 Gbps during the contract term. • The solution must support future scalability without requiring contract renegotiation. • The provider must deliver E-rate eligible Internet access and WAN transport services for all schools and district facilities.
