Description:
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a contractor to provide fire life safety maintenance and testing services at the Denver Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building (BB) (DEN), Denver TRACON (D01), and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Base Building (BB) (BJC). The contractor will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining the fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, and other life safety devices. The contractor must have a technician with a current NICET Certificate of Level III or higher in Fire Alarm Systems. The contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a period of performance from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2030. • The fire alarm systems must be inspected and tested in accordance with NFPA 72 and FAA Order JO 6930.1B. • The fire sprinkler systems must be inspected and tested in accordance with NFPA 25 and FAA Order JO 6930.1B. • The contractor must provide quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and 5-year inspections and testing of the fire alarm systems. • The contractor must provide sensitivity testing of all smoke detectors during the initial annual inspection. • The contractor must notify the FAA site representative prior to performing any work and coordinate work at the site. • The contractor must comply with all security requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Denver International Airport (DIA).
