The Palmdale Water District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide well rehabilitation services for two of its production wells. The scope of work includes mobilization, demobilization, and site cleanup, removal and assessment of permanent pumping equipment, performing downhole video and Casing Inspection Thickness Measurement (CITM) surveys, removing accumulated sediment and debris from the well sump and oil from the water surface, mechanical and chemical cleaning of the well screens by brushing, initial development by swabbing and/or airlifting/pumping, final development by pumping and surging, aquifer pumping tests to confirm effectiveness of work performed, well disinfection, and repair and/or reinstallation of the permanent pumping equipment. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, and all other items necessary for rehabilitation, redevelopment, and testing of the wells. • The wells are located within the Palmdale Water District boundaries. • The contractor shall provide a detailed schedule and coordinate with the district's maintenance department. • The contractor shall submit daily logs documenting the well rehabilitation process. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, codes, and regulations. • The contractor shall provide a written report summarizing the collected data, findings, and performance indicators. • The contractor shall perform all work in a safe and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to the surrounding area.
