The Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is seeking a Design-Build contractor to replace and modernize 40 elevators within the MTA system. The project includes design, construction, installation, commissioning, and certification of new equipment. The contractor will be responsible for providing all design, construction, and installation of goods and services, meeting all requirements specified in the RFP. Key personnel must have experience in elevator modernization and installation, with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in relevant fields. The project will be performed in various locations throughout the MTA system, including Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County, and Montgomery County. • The project requires the replacement and/or modernization of 40 elevators, including hydraulic, traction, and Machine Room Less (MRL) elevators. • The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision to fulfill the project requirements. • The project includes civil works relating to the replacement and/or modernization of elevators. • The contractor must ensure proper communication with the MTA monitoring system and obtain a minimum of 15 licenses for the current monitoring system. • The contractor must provide a video/audio emergency system for each elevator, using cellular-based communication technology.
