NOTICE TO BIDDERSRFB-2026-40SUNY SCCC ELSTON HALL FAÇADE AND WINDOW REPAIRS The County of Schenectady will be accepting bids for the SUNY SCCC Elston Hall Façade and WindowRepairs project at 78 Washington Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12305. There will be one prime contract. Digital copies of specifications may be obtained from BidNet Direct at www.bidnetdirect.com/new-yorkor by submitting a request to the Purchasing Department at purchasing@schenectadycountyny.gov. Papercopies may be picked up at the Purchasing Department, 2nd Floor, Schenectady County Office Buildingat 620 State Street, Schenectady, New York, 12305 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.weekdays, but must be requested via email 24 hours in advance. A mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on two dates, in which prospective bidders arerequired to attend one of the two walkthroughs. Failure to attend one of the on-site walkthroughswill be considered grounds for bid disqualification. The first walkthrough will be held on January 13,2026, at 2:00 PM. The second walkthrough will be held on January 20, 2026, at 2:00PM. Both walkthroughs will be at SUNY SCCC Elston Hall, 78 Washington Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12305. Those interested are asked to meet outside the East Entrance of Elston Hall. All proposals must be delivered in a sealed envelope marked “Bid” and stating SUNY SCCC Elston HallFaçade and Window Repairs, RFB-2026-40, to the Purchasing Agent, no later than February 12, 2026,at 2:00 PM, at which time they will be opened. Bid Security shall be submitted with each bid as described in General Instructions to Bidders. Woman and minority owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. Schenectady County is anEqual Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Schenectady County will make any investigation it deems necessary to determine the responsibility of anybidder to perform the work. The County reserves the right to reject any bid if an investigation of the bidder fails to satisfy the county that the bidder is responsible and can carry out the obligations of the contract.
