The San Bernardino County Department of Aging and Adult Services is seeking proposals for Family Caregiver Support Program Services. The program aims to provide various services to support informal, unpaid family caregivers. The contract will be awarded for a one-year period, with an option to renew for three additional years. The estimated budget for this project is $800,000. Proposers must submit their proposals electronically through the County's Electronic Procurement Network (ePro) by April 28, 2025. • The program supports adult family members or other informal caregivers aged 18 or older providing care to individuals aged 60 or older. • The program also supports older relatives, not parents, aged 55 or older providing care to children under the age of 18, and older relatives, including parents, aged 55 or older providing care to adults with disabilities aged 18 to 59. • The services to be provided include support services counseling, support group, training, respite in-home, respite care other (chore), respite out-of-home day care, and respite out-of-home overnight care. • Proposers must have experience in providing similar services and must meet the requirements outlined in the RFP. • A non-mandatory proposal conference will be held on April 14, 2025, and proposers must submit their questions by April 18, 2025.
