The City of Meriden is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the supply and distribution of fresh bakery products to Meriden Public Schools. The contract is expected to be approximately $60,000 for the school year 2026-2027. The selected vendor will be required to provide fresh bakery products that meet the USDA FNS Child Nutrition Program requirements. The vendor will also be required to maintain a written, HACCP-based Food Safety Program and ensure that all products are received, stored, handled, transported, and delivered in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation requirements.
