The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is seeking applications for two Aquaculture Interns for the Lyman Fish Hatchery in Gulfport, MS. The internship positions pay $14.00 per hour and are for a maximum of 28 hours per week. The positions are for up to 10 weeks, depending on the intern’s school schedule. The minimum qualifications for these positions include a Bachelor’s Degree in biology, marine science, botany, ecology, environmental science, chemistry, forestry, wildlife biology, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university. The candidate must have a minimum of 32 hours college credit. • Must possess a valid driver’s license (Mississippi residents must have a Mississippi driver’s license) • Must provide a copy of transcript (unofficial copy is acceptable) • Must include any training or skills related to this position in the application • Must be available to work up to 28 hours per week for up to 10 weeks • Must be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
