The City of Warwick is seeking bids for on-call bypass pumping services. The successful bidder will provide pumping services for scheduled and emergency response projects, maintaining flow and diverting current wastewater flow in a pipe. The services will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The bidder must be prepared to commit their bypass equipment and perform bypass requirements for the total time period of the WSA requirement. Key equipment includes portable sewerage pumps, suction and discharge piping, pipe plugs, and backup pumps. The bidder must also provide pricing for labor, equipment, and accessories. The contract will be for 24 months, with the option to extend for an additional 12 months. • The bidder must have at least 5 years of experience with references to demonstrate their ability to handle 4.5-7 million gallons per day of flow. • The bidder must be able to mobilize and stage equipment within 3 hours or less. • The bidder must provide a certificate of insurance for all equipment and personnel. • The bidder must comply with all Rhode Island laws and regulations, including prevailing wage rates. • The bidder must provide pricing for all equipment and services, including labor, fuel, and maintenance. • The bidder must be able to provide on-call services 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
