The City of Pinole is seeking bids for the Citywide Roof Repairs and Replacement - Public Safety Building Roof Replacement project. The project includes the repair and replacement of roofs at various city buildings, with a focus on the Public Safety Building. The contractor will be responsible for completing the work within 120 days of the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. The city reserves the right to reject all or any part of all bids submitted, waive informalities and irregularities, and will not be bound to accept the lowest bid. • The project requires a valid Class 39 license at the time of contract award. • The contractor must pay not less than the specified prevailing rates to all workers employed in the execution of the work. • The contractor must provide a certified or cashier’s check or approved Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid Price. • The city may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, and may condition the award upon the bidder’s timely submission of all required items.
