Description:
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte is seeking a contractor to provide hazardous waste and materials disposal services for its Environmental Health & Safety Department. The contractor will be responsible for providing services in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to a large quantity generator of hazardous waste. The scope of work includes the disposal of various types of hazardous waste, including acids, asbestos, and labpacks. The contractor will also be required to provide documentation of their experience and qualifications, as well as proof of insurance and financial stability. • The contract will have an initial term of three years, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms. • The contractor will be required to provide a financial proposal, including costs for disposal, transportation, and other services. • The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and price. • The contract will be awarded to the contractor who provides the best value to the university.
